[Alloy: Arena]

One of the best games I've ever played.

Extremely addictive, I've been playing it daily for about a week now. I usually dont go on newgrounds, but the arena really stands out. Cant wait for the final version, hope it kicks butt.

Bugs i've found:
When the enemy is running at you, harpoon them, and they will be 'frozen' in spot.

Harpoon someone when they're falling down, or a mouse when it's lying down...and it will go in the floor.

Shoot as you harpoon someone and you will launch them.

And the infamous try again button, of course.

Features that should be changed:

Sound@!!! No way to turn it off, very annoying.

You shouldnt be able to be get shot without first seeing the enemy.

one bug however:
for some odd reason sometimes i just turn into this landmark shit thing - i dont know why - i have all my lives, there's nothing wrong. good math in this game though - and AWESOME AI! i loved tricking the enemy planes to fly into the grass. sometimes the hittest wouldnt trigger thoguh - and theyd go right through the grass without dying.

i can see work but i cant see motivation or style

what makes this game stand out from the rest? its poorly drawn, really. it doesnt take on any original concept or idea, in fact it just rubs over an overused one. no decent actionscript - just x/y deferentials - no swapdepth or such.
and preaching reviews wont get you anywhere - they'll just tell you that u did good at producing trash, so you'll make more. bad reviews make you try harder. :)

however, this is running very laggy on a p3 1.2 ghz. that really is ought to be fixed. work on the game some more, im sure you'll have a clean product.

well i dont know how to kill the helicopter it just flies around and you cant shoot it. great game, though.

watch out when mine comes out though...
